✨ Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Time!✨ Mrs. Herod & Ms. Taylor’s second graders read The Legend of Spookley the Pumpkin. While working on our story elements, the students also were able to carve and clean out the pumpkins! 🎃 We can’t wait to count to see which class had the most pumpkin seeds!

We all live downstream! Today 4th grade made watersheds in the steam lab. We made mountains and valleys out of paper and trash bags, then we made it RAIN! 🌧️ After, we polluted our mountain tops and saw where the water ends up flowing. ⛰️🌧️

It feels like one big family!” Years in Teaching: “I am a career switcher so this is my 3rd year teaching. I’ve taught 3rd grade and now 5th grade. I was also an IA in 6th and 8th grade before I came to Johnson.” Favorite subject to teach: “Social studies! I love history so I find it to be fun to teach.” Hobbies: “I love reading!
