
Mrs. Hines’ 4th graders put their brains & teamwork to the test when they were asked to build a sled for their snowman! Each group of students had to use different materials to build a sled, use math skills to measure how far, and communication to work together! ⛄️

🌟 HUGE 🌟 shoutout and congratulations to our very own Tori Goode from Mrs. Collier’s 5th grade class! Tori won the Light of Hope nomination for Johnson Elementary for demonstrating attributes of Dr. Martin Luther King. We are so lucky to have Tori as a Johnson jaguar and we all couldn’t be more proud of her!

Ms. Kinney’s class enjoyed their second to last week of swimming! We asked two students what has been their favorite part so far and they said….
James: “I like when we put our hands on top of our heads to make a point. Then we have to go under water and try to swim!”
Elias: “I like when the instructor puts toys on the bottom and we have to go under and go get them!”

Last week we celebrated ending our first quarter of the ‘23 - ‘24 school year! 💃🏼 The students showed off their dance moves, teamwork skills, and craft creating!

🇺🇸 Last Thursday our second graders put on an amazing performance to honor our Veterans for Veteran’s Day! Special shoutout to our lovely music teacher, Mrs. Jackson for helping our students shine! 🇺🇸
