ELA Registration

Henrico County Adult English Language Acquisition classes are available in person during the 2026-27 school year. Using the Burlington English Online Program, classes feature basic English-language instruction, civics education and workplace-readiness skills. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are included in every class.

    • Literacy (Regency only)
    • Low Beginning.
    • High Beginning.
    • Low Intermediate.
    • High Intermediate.

    • Show ONE of the following:
      • U.S. Passport
      • U.S. Birth Certificate
      • Certificate of Naturalization
      • Certificate of Citizenship
      • Consular Report of Birth Abroad
      • Virginia Driver's License- Standard & Social Security Card
      • Virginia Driver's License - Real ID
      • Permanent Resident Card (I-551/Green Card)
      • Employment Authorization Document (I-766/EAD)
      • Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record
      • Refugee/Asylee/Parolee Documentation (I-94 or other DHS/USCIS documentation)
    • Stay for a 2.5-hour required placement test.
    • Pay a $150 nonrefundable registration fee + $6 service fee by credit or debit card. (Total: $156)
    • No children permitted

    NOTE: Regular attendance in class is required to keep your space.

Registration Sessions

REGENCY MALL CAMPUS LOCATION

The western Henrico center is at 1420 N. Parham Road on Regency Mall's lower level. Turn off Parham Road onto Holly Hill Rd. Go down the hill and park in the lower level of the parking deck. Look for the blue"Henrico County Public Schools: Adult Education Center" sign.

HIGHLAND SPRINGS LOCATION

The eastern Henrico center is at 201 E. Nine Mile Road, Highland Springs, VA has ongoing registration.

2026-207 Rolling registration for both locations.
